About the company

Our company GS Caltex Czech, Ltd. is the first European branch of the Korean refining and petrochemical company GS Caltex, a leader in its field in the Asia-Pacific region. At the beginning of 2013, we started our own production of compound polypropylene granules in our new plant in Karviná.

At present we make material at 6 production lines in the production hall with an area of 6000 m². we are also in possession of three warehouses for input and output material with a total area of 13000 m². Our production capacity for the year 2018 is 42,000 tons of material.

Our final materials are widely used for example in the production of automotive components, both interior and exterior parts and also parts for home appliances.

The material from GS Caltex Czech is used in the production of dashboards, door panels, center consoles, bumpers and other plastic parts in passenger cars. A great advantage of GS Caltex materials is the recently more and more used LGF material (long glass fiber thermoplastic). This material can replace certain metal parts in vehicles and by doing this contributes to a significant weight reduction and the associated reduction of emissions from passenger cars.
